Leaving California in the Fall

The clouds are descending
Upon the mountains
The ocean has turned gray
The tide is choppy eating at the
Edges of sand and time with
An unparalleled hunger
We are lost in white noise
Floating beneath an angry sky
With no color just cold
White-washed like bones and
Broken at the sound of rain

Always seriously joking and rambunctiously soft-spoken.
