Because Rose

The world shrinks when
Dipped in love.
This is the geography of feeling.
Cartographers have struggled
To capture the correlations between
Continents and humans,
The landscapes that rise and
The chests that fall concave
As time goes by.
Cardinal mutants layered one
On top of the other
Palpitating in the humidity of
Global archives, naked
Fingers, and stars to say
“I was here, but now
I’m alone.”

Always seriously joking and rambunctiously soft-spoken.
